Pawan
Kalyan's
latest
movie
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
has
received
positive
talks
from
viewers,
but
it
is
facing
the
wrath
of
a
few
groups
like
the
Telangana
activists,
activists
of
the
Telugu
Desam
Party
(TDP)
and
YSR
Congress,
who
have
objected
certain
characters
in
the
film
and
also
some
dialogues
and
scenes,
claiming
that
they
are
intended
to
disrespect
the
Telangana
agitation
and
the
leaders
like
YS
Rajasekhar
Reddy,
Chandrababu
Naidu
and
KCR's
son
KTR.
They
have
equated
the
Chief
Minister's
role
played
by
Nazar
to
YSR,
the
opposition
leader
character's
name
Jawahar
Naidu
to
Chandrababu
Naidu
and
the
dialogue
'Dushta
Rajakeeyalu
chesevariki
bolli
(Soriasis)
vanti
vyadhulu'.
The
villain's
son
(Ranababu
Naidu
character)
launching
Telugu
Talli
agitation
and
calling
for
extradition
of
non-Telugus
from
the
state
was
equated
to
'Non-Andhraites'
from
Telangana.
Alleging
that
Puri
Jagannath
had
announced
even
before
the
release
of
the
film
that
the
movie
is
based
on
politics
and
would
not
reflect
current
political
situation,
they
said
that
Puri
Jagannath
and
Pawan
Kalyan
have
intentionally
made
the
film.
They
created
a
ruckus
near
Aradhana
theatre
in
Tarnaka
of
Hyderabad,
near
the
OU,
and
also
in
various
other
parts
of
Telangana
like
Warangal.
They
stopped
the
screening
of
the
morning
show
and
destroyed
the
cut-outs
and
flexis
near
the
theatres.
Some
of
them
had
brought
a
few
reels
of
the
film
out
and
set
them
afire
and
demanded
a
ban
on
the
film
in
Telangana
region.
Director
Puri
Jagannath,
producer
DVV
Danaya
and
some
of
the
film
distributors
are
trying
to
pacify
the
agitators
by
announcing
to
edit
the
scenes,
which
are
objectionable.
However,
this
is
not
the
first
time
a
Pawan
Kalyan's
film
is
facing
the
Telangana
agitators
ire.
Earlier,
his
film
Komuram
Puli
faced
the
Telangana
agitator's
wrath
and
they
were
cooled
down
with
the
removal
of
'Komuram'
from
the
title
of
the
movie.
