It's a battle of the Bs – Bodyguard v/s
Businessman at the Box Office. The Tollywood is ready to
witness a rare clash between Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu, as their
movies are releasing for Sankranthi.
Venkatesh's Ganga - The Bodyguard is a remake of
Malayalam blockbuster movie of the same name. It was made in Hindi,
Tamil and Kannada. The Bollywood and Tollywood versions won the
hearts of the audiences. The strengths of the movie are Venky's
strong presence and universally-appealing story.
On the other end, Mahesh Babu's The Businessman has
drawn the attention for various reasons. Firstly, the movie is a
coming together flick of the Pokiri combo – Puri Jagannath
and Mahesh Babu that assures a great opening at the Box Office. The
next one is that the audio has become a big hit and the dialogues
have become a talk of the town. Adding to that the viewers have
pinned high hopes on the actor's film after Dookudu went
on to become a blockbuster of 2011.
Traders reckon that even though Mahesh Babu's The
Businessman has an edge over Venkatesh's Bodyguard,
the Nagavalli star's movie has a strong subject, which can
attract the family audience. However, they deny that the two big
movies would eat each other's business, as there is always place
for two good movies.
