Mahesh Babu’s 1: Nenokkadine Getting Hollywood Touch

Director Sukumar's upcoming Telugu movie 1: Nenokkadine, which is scheduled to release in theatres as Sankranthi treat, has several surprises for Superstar Mahesh Babu's fans. One of them is the VFX work in the action sequences. The makers of the movie have roped in Hollywood technicians for the special effects of the film, which has almost wrapped up its filming and is currently in post-production stage.

The movie 1: Nenokkadine is touted to be mass entertainer, which is high on action quotient. According to the film unit, the movie has several fights and chase scenes, and Mahesh has shot them under the supervision of Hollywood stunt coordinator Conrad Palmisano. The VFX work in these sequences is said to be world class and the international technicians, who have contributed to the success of several Hollywood Blockbusters, are currently working on the film.

Starring Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon in the leads, 1: Nenokkadine is one of the big budget movies of Tollywood. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara, who have earlier produced Prince's Dookudu, have invested hefty sum on this action thriller. Popular music director Devi Sri Prasad is composing tunes and background score for the film, while R Rathnavelu handles cinematography for it.

The rumours about 1: Nenokkadine started doing rounds in February 2012 soon after the release of The Businessman. It was reported that along with cinematographer Rathnavelu, Sukumar was in Bangkok scouting locations and that the major part of filming would take place in Bangkok.

Initially, Kajal Aggarwal was roped in to play Mahesh Babu's love interest in 1: Nenokkadine. So they first began the shooting in Hyderabad on April 23, 2012. In the first schedule, they canned a song on a special set worth Rs 1.5 crores built at Annapurna Studios for this purpose.

Cinematographer R Rathnavelu handled the camera work for 1: Nenokkadine and its second schedule of filming began on May 31, 2012 at Hyderabad and went on till June 5, 2012. Due to Mahesh Babu's other commitments, the shooting of 1: Nenokkadine was put on hold for four months.

Later, the shooting of 1: Nenokkadine resumed on October 14, 2012, and the film unit canned some important scenes in Goa till November 1, 2012. Mahesh Babu's son Gautham Krishna is playing his younger character in the film.

In March 2013, Mahesh Babu shot some action scenes for 1: Nenokkadine under the supervision of stunt coordinator Conrad Palmisano in Hyderabad. Later, he has also canned the major action portion of the film in Hungary and Germany in another schedule of 40 days.
