to
be

by
a

Bollywood

to
reports,
RJ-turned-filmmaker
Nandini
Reddy
is
currently
giving
final
touches
to
the
script
of
Hindi
remake
of
Ala
Modalaindi,
which
is
likely
to
become
her
maiden
Bollywood
project.
Producer
Damodar
Prasad
is
expected
to
collaborate
with
a
popular
Bollywood
banner
to
produce
the
remake
of
the
film.
He
is
likely
to
meet
the
bosses
of
the
production
house
in
May
to
finalise
the
details
of
the
project
and
kick-start
its
pre-production
works.
Ala
Modalaindi
is
a
romantic
comedy
film,
which
has
been
written
and
directed
by
Nandini
Reddy
produced
by
Damodar
Prasad
under
the
banner
of
Sri
Ranjith
Movies.
Released
on
21
January,
2011,
the
movie
has
garnered
positive
reviews
from
film
critics
and
done
superb
collection
at
the
Box
Office.
Made
on
budget
of
Rs
5
crores,
the
film
has
raked
in
Rs
23
crores
at
the
ticket
counters
and
completed
100
days
in
a
few
cinema
halls.
Nani
and
Nithya
Menon
have

the
lead
roles
in
Ala
Modalaindi.

chemistry

the
two
had
