Ram
Gopal
Varma's
latest
directorial
venture
Rowdy
has
made
a
decent
business
in
Andhra
Pradesh
and
worldwide
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
The
Mohan
Babu
and
Vishnu
Manchu
starrer
has
topped
the
business
chart,
while
another
new
release
Hrudaya
Kaleyam
landed
in
the
second
place.
But
considering
its
screen
count,
trade
experts
feel
that
its
performance
is
just
above
the
average
mark.
Riding
on
huge
positive
buzz,
Rowdy
released
in
a
large
number
of
screens
across
the
state
as
well
as
other
parts
of
the
world
on
April
4.
The
movie
received
an
overwhelming
response
on
Friday.
But
a
negative
word
of
mouth
took
a
toll
on
its
business
on
Saturday
and
Sunday
and
it
also
made
Hrudaya
Kaleyam
first
choice
for
many
film
goers.
Its
collection
was
partially
affected
by
Balakrishna's
last
week
release
Legend.
Rowdy
has
been
made
with
a
budget
of
around
Rs
20+
crores
and
it
is
said
to
have
recovered
its
production
cost
from
the
sale
of
its
music,
satellite
and
distribution
rights
and
got
a
decent
amount
of
table
profit
for
its
makers.
From
its
theatrical
run,
this
family
drama
and
action
entertainer
has
collected
Rs
11.13
crores
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
4.13
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
3.88
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
3.12
cr
on
Sun.
