Ever since it was announced, Superstar Mahesh Babu's latest outing Aagadu has been creating ripples in the media for all the good reasons. The movie is scheduled to release in record number of screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. Trade experts in T-Town predict that the movie would get a superb opening and break the record of Attarintiki Daredi, which is all time biggest opener in Tollywood.
Aagadu is a big-ticket Telugu film that has been made
with a whopping budget of Rs 55 crores. Its music, which has been
composed by SS Thaman, has received superb response with a couple
of the songs turning chartbusters. Its trailers and posters have
also garnered positive response from the viewers, thereby adding
lot of curiosity among the film goers.
As per its trailer, Aagadu, which has been produced by
Dookudu fame 14 Reels Entertainment, has rich production
elements. The videos show that director Srinu Vaitla has included
all the commercial ingredients in the film. In addition, the makers
have gone overboard promoting it and they have borrowed several
unique publicity strategies like launching Aagadu Express and
unveiling Longest Police Belt.
When compared to Mahesh Babu's previous films, Aagadu
is releasing in more number of cinema halls across the globe. If we
are to go by the latest reports, the movie will release in close to
1000 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions alone. It has
had huge amount of advance ticket bookings. Experts feel that it
will smash the opening day collection record of Attarintiki
Daredi in the areas.
Released in theatres on September 27, 2013, Attarintiki Daredi had collected Rs 10.75 crores at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Box Office on the first day.
