Samantha Donates Huge For The Rain-Hit Chennai

Samantha, who is known for her interest in philanthropy, has once again displayed her large heartedness by donating a huge amount to the rain-hit Chennai.

Being a Chennaite herself and a popular actress in the state, Samantha responded to the devastation caused in the city due to floods. The actress announced an aide of 30 Lakhs to Tamilnadu CM relief fund, through her Pratyusha organisation.

In fact, she was criticized by many on social platforms for not helping the city and its people till now. She was also bashed for not appreciating actor Siddharth's relief work, who is her ex-boyfriend.

When the actress heaped praises for Rana Daggubati, for initiating a campaign called Mana Madras Kosam and helping out the Chennaites from a distance, Siddharth's fans attacked Sam, for not acknowledging the actor's work because of her personal egos.

However, the actress replied to the criticism with great patience and said everybody is appreciative of good works. Samantha has also participated in Mana Madras Kosam and had sent relief material to Chennai since she is stuck shooting in Hyderabad. Besides that, the actress has now announced a huge amount today, for which she really needs to be appluaded.
