NTR's
Nannaku
Prematho,
despite
mixed
reviews
from
critics
and
audiences
alike,
has
managed
to
earn
over
Rs.50
crore
in
the
worldwide
ticket
window
in
just
two
weeks.
Incidentally,
this
is
the
first
50
Cr
film
for
the
actor
and
it
is
a
long
wait
for
him
since
all
his
peers
have
already
registered
their
names
in
80
Cr
clubs.
"We
are
really
happy
that
the
film
has
entered
the
Rs.50
crore
club.
It's
doing
really
well
at
the
box-office,
especially
in
the
US.
I'm
glad
audiences
have
accepted
a
novel
attempt.
I
can't
thank
them
enough," said
film
producer
B.V.S.N.
Prasad.
However,
it
is
yet
to
enter
the
profits
zone
in
a
few
areas
and
the
film's
probable
new
goal
ahead
is
to
break
even
in
all
the
areas.
Only
then,
it
would
be
a
safe
venture
for
the
distributors
and
exhibitors
as
well.
Nevertheless,
Nannaku
Prematho
remains
special
in
NTR's
career
as
it
is
his
highest
grosser
till
date.
Also,
the
film
proved
NTR's
stamina
at
the
box
office
and
strengthened
his
place
in
the
top
league.
Nannaku
Prematho
collected
around
2
Million
in
USA,
making
NTR
stand
next
to
Prabhas
and
Mahesh
in
overseas
market.
Directed
by
Sukumar,
the
film
also
stars
Rakul
Preet
Singh,
Jagapathi
Babu
and
Rajendra
Prasad
in
important
roles.
Prasad
hopes
the
film
will
soon
enter
the
Rs.100
crore
club.
"The
way
it's
performing,
it's
most
likely
to
rake
in
over
Rs.100
crore
very
soon,"
he
said.
