Akhil Akkineni's much-hyped high-octane action drama Agent hit the screens amid a decent buzz on April 28. The movie which stars veteran superstar Mammootty in a key role is receiving negative reviews.
The Agent is the story of three RAW agents, who are the best in their craft. Colonel Mahadev (Mammootty) trains The God (Dino Morea) and Rama Krishna aka Rikki (Akhil). God turns rogue and heads the underworld by dictating every government and political move in India.

Although Akhil Akkineni and Mammootty had excellent characters to play around with, the movie lacks essential elements like story, screenplay, and engaging emotion, and is unlike any other Surender Reddy film. The production delay could've caused so much destruction as it came out. The actor went on to promote the film on a whole new level by attempting feats etc. He toured many places in and around Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but to no avail.
Within a few hours of its release, Akhil Akkineni's film Agent made its way to online piracy websites. The movie was copied into high-quality print and shared with several illegal websites that encourage piracy. The links to the movie are then circulated on social media platforms.
Agent Cast
The film stars veteran superstar Mammootty, Bollywood actor Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya, Vikramjeet Virk, Denzil Smith, and Sampath Raj among others in crucial roles. Bollywood model and actress Urvashi Rautela will be seen shaking a leg for a special song titled 'Wild Saala,' which was released recently.

Vakkantham Vamsi, who is a writer-director has written the story for Agent. Another director-cinematographer Rasool Ellore cranked the camera for the film. George C Williams worked on a song. Naveen Nooli worked as the Editor while popular Kollywood music duo Hiphop Tamizha composed the entire soundtrack and score for Agent.
The movie was produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner in association with Surender 2 Cinemas. The movie Agent has been shot at various locations in and around Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam, and Manali.
