Akhil Akkineni's Agent was released all over the world on April 28 and was met with a lukewarm response at the box office. The film which stars Mammootty and Dino Morea in crucial roles was written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy.

Fans of the Akkineni clan and Akhil were disappointed a lot after Agent hit the screen after several postponements and delayed production.

Agent Story

The story of Agent is about three RAW agents. Colonel Mahadev aka Devil (Mammootty) is a commendable Agent who trains Dino Morea (The God) for the country. However, when God turns against the system, Devil has to take another task of preparing an Agent to take down God. Meanwhile, Ramakrishna AKA Rikki (Akhil) is an enthusiastic chap who wants to become an Agent. What happens next, is to be seen on the screen.

Agent Cast

The film stars veteran superstar Mammootty, Bollywood actor Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya, Vikramjeet Virk, Denzil Smith, and Sampath Raj among others in crucial roles. Bollywood model and actress Urvashi Rautela will be seen shaking a leg for a special song titled 'Wild Saala,' which was released recently.

Agent Crew

Agent has a story by Vakkantham Vamsi, who is a writer-director. Another director-cinematographer Rasool Ellore cranked the camera for the film. George C Williams worked on a song. Naveen Nooli worked as the Editor while popular Kollywood music duo Hiphop Tamizha composed the entire soundtrack and score for Agent.

The movie was produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner in association with Surender 2 Cinemas. The agent has been shot at various locations in and around Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam, and Manali.
