Creative director Krishna Vamsi is finally going to hit the screens with an epic emotional family drama titled Rangamarthanda. The movie is ready for Ugadi release on March 22 all over the two Telugu-speaking states and a few other parts of the world. Rangamarthanda has high expectations for several reasons including the fact that there is a stellar cast coming together, Krishna Vamsi's directorial, Ilaiyaraaja musical, and legendary Brahmanandam in an unusual character, returning to the silver screen. Krishna Vamsi is in dire need of a commercial and critical hit, although his movies are aesthetically appreciated. Ahead of the release, the team of Rangamarthanda are taking part in numerous promotional activities.
The movie unit organized a preview for the press and people of the Tollywood fraternity on March 20 in Hyderabad, to highly positive reviews. Most of them were teary-eyed and emotional after watching the preview. Journalist Prema, actor Siva Balaji, and actress Madhumitha were a few among the ones who spoke about Rangamarthanda.

The film stars Rahul Sipligunj, Ali Reza, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Adarsh Balakrishna, and Sivathmika Rajasekhar among others in crucial roles.
Rangamarthanda depicts the glorious and tragic life of Rangamarthanda Raghavarao, who has retired from acting but cannot live with it. His struggles as a husband, father, a celebrated stage actor all together put out an emotional roller coaster ride.
Veteran actor Brahmanandam's character is unique and stark contrasting to what all he has played so far in his remarkable career in the Telugu film industry.

Legendary Ilaiyaraaja composed the film's entire soundtrack and background music. Late lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry penned a couple of songs for Rangamarthanda.
Raj K Nalli worked as the cinematographer. Kalipu Madhu and S Venkat Reddy produced the movie under the Raja Shyamala Entertainments and Housefull Movies banners.
Rangamarthanda is a Telugu remake of 2018's Marathi film 'Natsamrat' starring Nana Patekar in the lead role. The movie was written by Kiran Yadnopavit and directed by popular actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar. Nana Patekar and Vishwas Joshi produced this critically acclaimed film.
