In
one
interview
where
Ramya
Krishna
is
promoting
her
husband
Krishna
Vamsi's
film,
she
shared
an
interesting
detail
and
behind-the-scenes
story
of
how
she
was
cast
in
the
film
for
the
important
role
of
Raghavarao's
wife.
Ramya
Krishna
said,
"Vamsi
had
been
calling
up
several
actresses
that
he
thought
will
fit
the
character.
He
has
this
special
attention
to
detail
when
it
comes
to
casting
and
for
Rangamarthanda,
it
is
important
for
him
to
cast
the
right
actors
given
its
weight
of
emotions." Reportedly,
Krishna
Vamsi
couldn't
zero
in
on
any
of
the
actresses
that
he
had
thought
of,
due
to
budget
issues.
Talking
about
the
same,
Ramya
Krishna
added,
"He
spoke
over
phone
calls
in
front
of
me
saying
the
money
wouldn't
work
out,
the
budget
will
go
out
of
hand,
etc.
That
is
when
I
asked
Vamsi
if
I
will
play
the
character.
He
was
skeptical
at
first
but
he
finally
gave
in,"
she
laughed.
Meanwhile,
in
another
interview,
Krishna
Vamsi
said
that
he
cried
all
night
after
coming
home
from
shooting
an
important
scene
featuring
Ramya
Krishna.
"I
couldn't
do
it
at
first.
Tears
were
rolling
down
my
cheeks
as
long
as
I
have
been
shooting
for
it.
We
shot
for
the
sequence
for
36
hours.
I
felt
emotional."
