Jude Anthony Joseph's '2018' has become the first Malayalam movie to cross Rs 200 at the box office. The film hit theaters in May 2023 earned Rs. 176 crores from the global box office after the six weeks. The movie has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by overtaking Pulimurugan as the highest-grossing Mollywood film of all time.
Bheeshma Parvam
The movie take place of second after Tovino's '2018'. Raking in around Rs 88.10 crore at the global box office this action thriller, directed and produced by Amal Neerad, ensured that Malayalam superstar Mammootty was at the top of the game. According to reports, the movie has crossed over Rs 50 crores at the worldwide box office within a span of six days of its release. Beeshmaparvam becomes the first Malayalam film in Kerala, to be screened at full occupancy, ever since the pandemic broke out.
RDX: Robert Dony Xavier
Directed by Nahas Hidayath, RDX has become one of the highest grossing Malayalam movies in post pandemic. RDX repotedly earned Rs 84.65 crore globally. The film starred Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Mahima Nambiar and Babu Antony in the lead roles.
Kannur Squad
As per the reports, the film hit the theaters and made a great impact at the Indian and overseas box office. According to latest reports, the Mammootty-starrer has earned over 83.2 crore from the global box office. The film was directed by Roby Varghese Raj and featured Mammootty, Roby David Raj, Azees Nedumangad and Shabareesh Varma in the central roles. In terms of its box office collection, Kannur Squad is the 6th highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time.

Mollywood heartthrob, Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup also earned record box office collection globally. ‘Kurup’, which was mounted on a large scale, received highly positive responses from the audiences and raked in Rs 4.84 crores on its initial day at the Kerala box office. Talking about its world box office collection, Kurupp earned Rs 81 crore worldwide box office.
Romancham
Romancham is the seventh all-time top box office hit in Malayalam. It is reported that the film has earned 41 crores from Kerala alone,
4.1 crores from other states. The total world box office collection of movies is around 69.7 crores.
