The duo shared the screen in the 2017 action-comedy film A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky, directed and written by Raj & DK. While the movie received a lukewarm reception at the box office, there was a sizzling sequence between the lead stars that generated quite a buzz.

The song Laagi Na Choote from the film showcased Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez engaged in an intensely passionate kissing scene that evolved into a steamy love-making moment. However, the scene took an unexpected turn as the actors became so engrossed in the kiss that even after the director called for a cut, they kept kissing each other. This passionate moment ultimately earned the title of the "longest kiss" in Bollywood, as revealed by Raj & DK themselves.

Reflecting on the incident, Sidharth Malhotra embraced the intensity of the scene and praised Jacqueline Fernandez's irresistible allure. He acknowledged, "The song comes at a crucial moment in the film where the lead pair needs to fully trust each other and give into each other. The mood is intense, it's sensual and it needed us to be in the moment of romance. Jackie is just too hot to handle in this song."

The incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable chemistry that can arise on a film set, where moments of authentic passion can even blur the lines between scripted scenes and real emotions.
