While Sunny Deol has been offered the role of Lord Hanuman, Bobby Deol has been considered to play Kumbhkaran.

Actor Ranvir Shorey recently took to his X page to slam Indigo Airlines after his flight was delayed for more than 10 hours. Sharing his harrowing ordeal on social media through a long post, the actor alleged that his 2 PM flight got pushed to midnight while the staff of the airlines tried to pacify the situation with false promises. He wrote, “A rough account of what @IndiGo6E put us through yesterday: Our flight was scheduled for 2 PM. All 8 of us checked in 2 hours prior as stipulated, and only then were we informed that the flight was 3 hours late due to bad weather (fog). We were not intimated prior to reaching the airport. Still, we did not complain, thinking there must have been a communication issue and were completely understanding, as we were aware that at this time of the year these things happen sometimes.” Check the post.

Well-known Malayalam music director K J Joy died on Monday at his residence in Chennai, film industry sources said. He was 77 years old. Joy, known as the first 'techno musician' in the Malayalam film music world for his use of instruments like the keyboard in the 1970s, had been bedridden for some time following a stroke, the sources said. His funeral will be held in Chennai on Wednesday, they said. Joy, born in 1946 at Nellikunnu in the Thrissur district of Kerala, composed music for more than two hundred films during his decades-long career in the film industry. He made his debut in Malayalam cinema in 1975, and since then he was the architect of many songs that have captivated and enthralled people. Some of the over two hundred films he composed music for are: Ivan Ende Priyaputran, Chandanachola, Aradhana, Snehayamuna, Mukkuvane Snehicha Bhootham, Lisa Madalasa, Sayujyam, Itha Oru Theeram, Anupallavi, Sarpam, Shakti, Hridyam Padunnu, Chandrahasam, Manushya Mrigam and Karimpucha. He had also worked as an assistant in more than 500 films for various music directors.

After sweeping the 81st Golden Globes, Christopher Nolan’s epic biographical thriller Oppenheimer also dominated at the Critics Choice Awards 2024 as well.
