Baby John Advance Booking Day 1 New Update: After wining hearts with as a spy in debut web series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', Varun Dhawan is all set to set the screens on fire with his action-packed avatar in 'Baby John'. For this highly-anticipated film, VD joined hands with 'Jawan' director Atlee.
Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, Priya Atlee and Jio Studios, Baby John marks the Hindi adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil blockbuster film 'Theri'. For those unversed, the Tamil original had featured Thalapathy Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.

As we inch closer to 2024 end, Varun Dhawan is treating his fans with the best Christmas gift - Baby John. Headlined by Varun, the movie marks the Bollywood debut of newly-wedded popular south actress Keerthy Suresh. The action-drama also sees Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff in key roles. Ahead of its 25th December release, the advance booking of Baby John kickstarted on a fierce note.
According to Sacnilk, Varun Dhawan's Baby John has sold over 21k tickets in top national chains through advance booking for its opening day. As per the update, the film has earned around Rs 1.13 cr (with block seats) for its opening day (Christmas day) as of now.
Baby John Advance Booking: Will It Cross Bhediya's Pre-Sales?
Varun Dhawan's last theatrical release Bhediya had a decent box office opening at the box office. Given the current buzz, 'Baby John' is expected to cross Bhediya's pre-sales record. According to Sacnilk, Bhediya (2022) had grossed Rs 3.63 cr approximately (with block seats) for its opening day. With 2 days remaining for theatrical release on Christmas holiday, Baby John is likely to surpass Bhediya pre-sales numbers.
