Bohurupi Box Office Collection Day 11: On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra/ Vijaya Dashami, the India film industry released a slate of varied films for the audience. In Bollywood we saw Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' and Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', while in Bengali film industry it was 'Bohurupi' along with a couple of other films. And the regional small-budget film 'Bohurupi' has successfully managed to emerge itself as the clear winner amid Jigra Vs VVKWWV box office struggle.

Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee, Bohurupi is a Bengali-language action-chase drama that is inspired by real-life events. The Tollywood movie boasts an impressive starcast including names like Shiboprasad himself, Abir Chatterjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty, and Koushani Mukherjee in the lead.

Amid much buzz, the film had its theatrical release on 8th October 2024 and opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike. According to Sacnilk, Bohurupi collected Rs 35 lakhs on the day of its release. Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the film saw a significant growth during Durga puja. Despite witnessing a drop on weekdays, the Bengali movie has managed to maintain its strong hold at ticket counters and become a super-hit film.

As per Sacnilk, the total nett collection of Bohurupi now stands at approximately Rs 5.74 crores in 11 days. To note, the film is made on a budget of Rs 4 crores.

The Abir-Shiboprasad starrer has already recovered Bohurupi's budget from its theatrical run with 2 weeks. On the other hand, Jigra and VVKWWV are struggling to meet its budget expectations.
