The film -produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan - opened to positive reviews from the audience but it had an underwhelming opening in terms of box office numbers. However, due to the positive word-of-mouth, the movie picked up pace and raked in more moolah in 2nd week compared to its 1st week.

The film collected Rs 4.75 crores on opening day. During its first weekend, the movie picked up pace and minted around Rs 35.25 crores in 1st week.

According to Sacnilk, the film minted around Rs 4.85 crores on 2nd Saturday. The total collection of Chandu Champion now stands at Rs 42.75 crores, as per Sacnilk.
