Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 6: Within less than a week of the theatrical release, Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Jigra' seemingly has emerged itself as one of the biggest box office flops of her career, beating 'Kalank' and 'Shaandaar' in the list. Jointly produced by Karan Johar, Alia and Viacom18, Jigra features Alia as 'Satya' who goes great lengths to save her brother Ankur, played by Vedang Raina.

Amid positive buzz, the prison-break thriller drama released in cinemas on 11th October, clashing with Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. Not only Jigra opened to mixed response from the audience and critics alike but also embroiled in controversies. From rigging box office numbers to favouritism, several serious accusation have been labelled against Alia-KJo.

Jigra Box Office Collection Latest Report

Directed by Vasan Bala and starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead, Jigra had an underwhelming opening and earned around Rs 4.5 cr on the day of its grand release. Due to the buzz, the film did manage see a growth on Saturday and raked in Rs 6.5 cr, only to witness a decline in numbers on Sunday. Reportedly, the film collected Rs 5.47 cr on day 3, followed by a major drop on Monday.

According to Sacnilk, Jigra minted around Rs 1.60 cr yesterday (Tuesday), taking the total Hindi collection to Rs 19.7 cr in 5 days.

Despite Alia's star-power, Jigra is struggling at the ticket counters and how. According to the latest Sacnilk report, the movie has managed to collect Rs 28 lakhs today (Thursday, day 6) till 2:15 pm IST.

Given the current buzz, the movie is likely to continue its struggle and earn somewhere between Rs 1 - 1.5 cr today, by the end of day 6.
