Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 8: Alia Bhatt's latest Dharma film 'Jigra' has emerged as one of her lowest-grossing films of her career. Jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Eternal Sunshine Productions and Viacom18 Studios, Jigra - directed by Vasan Bala - features Alia as a fearless sister who goes great lengths just to save his brother (played by Vedang Raina).
Amid much anticipation, the film hit cinemas on 11th October and opened to mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. Amid the struggle, the film also got entangled in controversies over allegations of favoritism and rigging box office collection.
Jigra Box Office Collection 1st Week Report
Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra ended its 1st week of theatrical run on an underwhelming note. The film collected Rs 4.5 cr on the day of its release, followed by a noticeable growth of over 40% on Saturday. But since Sunday, the film has seen decline in numbers.
According to Sacnilk, the numbers dropped further below on day 7 and managed to mint around Rs 1.21 cr (Hindi nett), taking its 1st week collection to Rs 22.22 crores,

Given the current buzz, the film is likely to struggle at ticket counters. The film is expected to earn somewhere between 1-2 cr today (2nd Friday, day 8) at the box office.
Jigra Box Office: Will It Beat Highway's Lifetime Collection?
In her 12-year-old career, Alia Bhatt has delivered multiple 100-cr films along with a few box office flops. As of now, Highway remains the lowest-grossing film of her career. As per report, the lifetime collection of the Imtiaz Ali-directorial is approximately Rs 30.61 cr.
Jigra needs to earn nearly 8 cr to beat Highway's lifetime collection and emerge as her 2nd lowest grossing film. To note, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will take over all the screens from 1st November 2024.
