Khadaan (Bengali) Collection Day 9: Dev's Action-Drama Remains Houseful On 2nd Sat; Will It Beat Bohurupi?

Khadaan (Bengali) Box Office Collection Day 9: Tollywood superstar Dev (Dev Adhikari) is ending this year with a bang. From 'Tekka' in Durga Pujo to 'Khadaan' ahead of Christmas holiday, the 42-year-old actor-turned-politician is currently basking in the glorious success of his two back-to-back box office blockbusters. Matching up to the hype, the Bengali-language action-drama 'Khadaan' is on its way to become the biggest Bangla film ever. Directed by Soojit Dutta, the film hit cinemas on 20th December 2024, clshing with Subhashree Ganguly's 'Shontaan' and Tota Roy Chowdhury-Shantanu Maheshwari-starrer 'Chaalchitro'.

Khadaan Box Office Collection Day 9 (Yesterday)

Starring Dev and Jisshu Sengupta in the lead, Khadaan, also featuring John Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakrabarty, Barkha Bisht and Idhika Paul among others, has been going houseful all across Bengal with fans flocking to theatres. Jointly produced by Dev's Dev Entertainment Ventures and Nispal Singh's Surinder Films, Khadaan has had a massive opening at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the film opened to a whopping Rs 68 lakhs, followed by collecting Rs 5.59 cr in its 1st week.

According to the latest Sacnilk report, the Bengali movie saw a significant jump in numbers on Saturday (yesterday) and minted around Rs 57 lakhs on day 9. Now, the total 9-day nett collection stands at Rs 6.62 crores! Made on a decent budget of Rs 6 cr, Khadaan already recovered its budget from the box office.

Week 1: Rs 5.59 cr

Day 8 (2nd Friday): ₹ 46 lakhs

Day 9 (2nd Saturday): ₹ 57 lakhs

Total Nett Collection: Rs 6.62 CRORES!

Total India Gross Collection: Rs 7.42 CRORES!

Khadaan Beats Bohurupi Day 9 Collection

As of now, Khadaan is the second highest-grossing Bengali film of the year. While Abir Chatterjee-Shiboprasad Mukherjee starrer 'Bohurupi' remains at the top, Dev's Khadaan has surpassed Bohurupi's 9-day-collection. As per reports, Bohurupi, released during Durga Pujo, had grossed around Rs 5.59 cr in 9 days.

Given the current buzz around Khadaan, the Dev starrer is likely to beat Bohurupi and become the highest-grossing Bengali film ever.
