Khadaan (Bengali) BO Collection Day 8: Dev’s Film Refuses To Slow Down; Recovers Budget Ahead Of 2nd Weekend
Khadaan (Bengali) Box Office Collection Day 8: Bengali superstar Dev (Dev Adhikari) is currently basking in the glorious success of his latest release, 'Khadaan'. The Soojit Dutta directorial is on its way to become the biggest Bengali film ever, dethroning Shiboprasad Mukherjee-Abir Chatterjee starrer 'Bohurupi'. Amid high buzz, Khadaan released in cinemas on 20th December 2024. The film clashed with two other Bengali films, flocking audiences to theatres. Living up to the hype, the film has had a massive start at the box office in Bengal.

Starring Dev and Jisshu Sengupta in the lead, the Bengali-language action-thriller drama 'Khadaan' is in no mood to slow down anytime soon. The Bengali film is giving a solid 'tekka' (competition) to big releases like Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' and Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa 2'.
Amid high anticipation, Khadaan, jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films, opened to a whopping collection of 68 lakhs. The film went on to see solid jump in numbers in 1st week due to the positive word-of-mouth and raked in around Rs 5.6 cr in its 1st week. According to Sacnilk, the Dev starrer saw a slight dip in numbers on 2nd Friday (yesterday) and managed to earn Rs 46 lakhs approximately on day 8. Despite the drop, the film maintained steady hold at ticket counters in Bengal. Now, the total 8-day estimated nett collection stands at Rs 6.06 cr.

Khadaan (Bengali) Meets Budget Expectations Ahead Of 2nd Weekend
Ahead of the 2nd weekend, Dev's 'Khadaan' has recovered its budget at the box office. According to reports, the film is made on a small budget of Rs 6 cr. Given the current buzz, the movie is set for a smashing second weekend.
Besides Dev and Jisshu, Khadaan also features Anirban Chakrabarty, Barkha Bisht, Ishika Paul and John Bhattacharya among others in important roles.
