Sarfira Box Office Collection Prediction Day 8: Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sarfira' is undoubtedly one of the most-talked-about films of the year. Directed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is the Hindi adaptation of the 2020 Tamil blockbuster 'Soorarai Pottru'. The National Award-winning Tamil starred Suriya and Aparna Balamurali in the lead. Based on G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey, Sarfira features Akshay Kumar, Radhikka Madan and Paresh Rawal among others. Amid decent anticipation, the Hindi remake hit cinemas last Friday, i.e., 12th July. Despite receiving positive reviews from the audience and critics alike, the movie has been struggling to pull audience to theatres.

Sarfira Latest Box Office Collection

Akshay Kumar-Radhikka Madan starrer 'Sarfira' had a slow start at the box office with a collection of Rs 2.5 cr. Due to positive word-of-mouth, the film witnessed growth and raked in 4.25 cr on Saturday (day 2), followed by 5.25 cr on Sunday (day 3). However, the film saw a sharp decline on its 1st Monday and managed to earn Rs 1.45 cr only.

According to a report published by Sacnilk; Sarfira minted around Rs 1.25 cr (early estimates) on 1st Thursday, taking the total collection to Rs 18.80 in its 1st week.

Ever since the release, Sarfira has been having a decent run in theatres. As per the latest Sacnilk report, the numbers have dropped further below on Friday (day 8) and has managed to collect around Rs 40 lakhs today so far.

Akshay's social-drama is facing a tough competition from Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk starrer 'Bad Newz'. It would be interesting to see how Sarfira further performs as 'Bad Newz' is taking over cinemas.
