Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 20 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's recent release Stree 2 has been doing wonders at the box office since the first day. For the uninitiated, Stree 2, which is directed by Amar Kaushik, is the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 also had cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia.

As Stree 2 opened to rave reviews, it has taken the social media by a storm since the first day. After recording the highest opening day collection of the year, Stree 2 has been roaring loud at the box office and has managed to shatter several box office records in its journey so far. In fact, after an impressive hold at the box office during the first week and the second weekend, while Stree 2 did see some drop in collections during the second week, the third weekend revived the hold once again.

In fact, Stree 2 managed to rake in the highest third Sunday collection of all times. However, the third Monday came with a massive drop of over 70%. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 6.5 crores yesterday (day 19/ third Monday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 486.55 crores. Interestingly, this happened to be the third highest third Monday collection after Pathaan and Baahubali 2

Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is expected to see another dip in numbers today (day 20/ third Tuesday) and is likely to earn Rs 5 crores. As Stree 2 is expected to cross Rs 490 crores today in India, it will be interesting to see if the horror comedy will manage to enter the coveted Rs 500 crores club in week 3.

Is Stree 3 On Cards?

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee has spilled beans about the third installment of Stree series and told Indian Express, "It will take time. Now that Stree 2 has become such a big hit, I know that it won't take six years to make it, like we did with Stree 2. That's for sure. Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga and as an actor I am dying to be back on that set".
