The Buckingham Murders Box Office Collection Prediction Day 3: Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders witnessed growth in numbers after a slow start at the box office. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the investigation-drama also marks Bebo's debut as a producer. She has co-produced the movie with Ektaa R. Kapoor-led Balaji Motion Pictures.

Amid decent anticipation, The Buckingham Murders released in cinemas on 13th September 2024. The movie revolves around the story of cop-mother named Jass (played by Kareena) who's grieving the loss of her soon. She moves to a new town where she's assigned with the investigation of a missing child.

Headlined by Kareena Kapoor Khan, The Buckingham Murders opened to mixed reviews from audience and critics alike. The film had an underwhelming box office opening of Rs 1.62 crores.

As posted by the makers, the film saw a surprising jump of 90% on second day. The film apparently earned around Rs 2.41 cr on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 4.03 crores (nett India) in two days.

Despite jump, Kareena Kapoor's The Buckingham Murders overall box office report card is quite unimpressive. Given the buzz, the film is likely to continue its struggle at the box office and will earn somewhere around Rs 2.5.-3 cr today (first Sunday).

According to the latest report by Sacnilk, the movie has managed to rake in around Rs 63 lakhs today (day 3) till 4 PM.

Will The Buckingham Murders Surpass Tumbbad Re-Release Record On Opening Weekend?

On the other hand, Sohum Shah's horror-drama 'Tumbbad' is having a gala at the box office after its re-release on the same day. The film earned Rs 1.65 cr on the opening day of its re-release, followed by Rs 2.65 cr on Saturday. The total 2-day nett collection of Tumbbad now stands at Rs 4.30 cr in two days. Given the strong buzz, Tumbbad is set to roar at the box office today as well.

Looks like, Sohum's Tumbbad will once again beat Kareena's The Buckingham Murders on the opening weekend as well.
