According to a report published by bollymoviereviewz.com, the epic folklore horror-saga earned around rs 1.5 cr on the first day of its re-release, beating Kareena Kapoor Khan's The Buckingham Murders. For those unversed, Tummbad had opened to a box office collection of Rs 65 lakhs back in 2018.
To note, Kareena's film also released yesterday and had a slow start in cinemas. As per Sacnilk, The Buckingham Murders raked in only around Rs 1.15 cr on day 1, marking Kareena Kapoor's lowest box office opening in the past 15 years.
