However, as per film producer and industry expert Girish Johar, Vedaa is likely to get an opening of around Rs 6-7 crores plus, while KKM is expected to open to a collection around Rs 5-6 cr.

2) Batla House Vs Mission Mangal (2019)

Back in 2019, John-Mrunal Thakur's Batla House clashed with Akshay, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu among others starrer Mission Mangal. While both the films were box office successes, Akshay's film minted more than double of what John's film raked in. As per reports, Mission Mangal collected around Rs 290 cr, while Batla House earned around Rs 113 cr.
