Binodiini - Ekti Natir Upakhyan Box Office Collection Day 4: After impressing the audience as the fierce no-nonsense cop in 'Tekka', renowned model-turned-actress Rukmini Maitra has wowed everyone as 'Binodini' in the latest Bengali-language biographical-drama titled 'Binodiini - Ekti Natir Upakhyan'. Directed by debutante Ram Kamal Mukherjee, the movie chronicles Binodini Dasi's inspiring journey from being a courtesan to becoming one of the first female actor in Bengali theatre.
Produced by Dev under his banner Dev Entertainment ventures, Binodiini hit cinemas on 23rd January 2025, coinciding with the Subhash Jayanti holiday in West Bengal. The film clashed with Srijit Mukherji's 'Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei'.

Amid positive buzz, Rukmini Maitra starrer Binodiini - Ekti Natir Upakhyan opened to mostly reviews from fans and critics alike. The film kickstarted its theatrical journey on a decent note and minted around Rs 7 lakhs on the day of its release, as per Sacnilk. On Friday, the film witnessed drop in numbers and added Rs 4 lakhs, but picked up a noticeable upward trend eventually on the weekend.
According to Sacnilk, Binodiini netted around Rs 8 lakhs on Saturday (day 3), followed by Rs 12 lakhs on Republic Day (yesterday, Sunday). Now, the total estimated nett box office collection stands at Rs 31 lakhs across Bengal.
