Binodiini (Bengali Film) Box Office Collection day 7: Renowned model-turned-actress Rukmini Maitra's latest outing 'Binodiini - Ekti Natir Upakhyan' has entered to its 2nd week in cinemas on an underwhelming note. Directed by debutante Ram Kamal Mukherjee, the Bengali-language biographical-drama is one of the highly-anticipated releases of the year. Produced by Dev-led Dev Entertainment Ventures, Binodiini had its grand theatrical release last week on 23rd January 2025 amid much buzz. The film clashed with Srijit Mukherji's 'Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei'.
Binodiini Box Office Collection First Week
Rukmini Maitra starrer Binodiini recently had its national premiere in Mumbai. Amid positive buzz, the film raked in around Rs 7 lakhs on the day of its release. Even though the film recorded a sharp drop on day 2 (Friday) and netted Rs 4 lakhs only, the movie picked up a noticeable upward trend on the first weekend. Reportedly, Binodiini scored Rs 8 lakhs on Saturday, followed by Rs 12 lakhs on Sunday.
According to Sacnilk, the Rukmini Maitra starrer added Rs 3 lakhs approximately on Wednesday (yesterday, Jan 29), taking the total collection to Rs 41 lakhs in 7 days. The first week box office report card of Binodiini looks underwhelming despite the buzz around the film.

Headlined by Rukmini Maitra, the movie brings the inspiring story of 'Binodini Dasi' to screens and chronicles her journey from being a courtesan to one of Bengal's first female theatre artist.
Featuring Rukmini as 'Binodini', the movie sees Kaushik Ganguly as 'Girish Ghosh', Om Sahani as 'Kumar Bahadur', Mir Afsar Ali as 'Gurmukh Rai' and Rahul Bose as 'Ranga Babu' among others.
