Directed by Laxman Utekar, the Hindi-language period biggie is based on the bravery and valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaji, the eldest son of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Chhaava Box Office Collection Prediction Day 1

Featuring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava, bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the production banner of Maddock Films, stars Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb alongside Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta and Diana Penty among others in important roles.

Given the massive response, fans and trade analysts are expecting Chhaava to open to a whopping box office collection between Rs 20-25 cr, emerging as the highest opening Hindi film of 2025 so far. The film has already become Vicky's biggest opener of his nearly a decade-old career.

Chhaava Occupancy Report Day 1 (Evening Footfalls)

Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has kickstarted its theatrical journey on a thunderous note. According to the latest Sacnilk update, the film has recorded an impressive 40.51% occupancy in footfalls during evening shows today.

Chhaava Morning Vs Evening Occupancy

Even in the morning shows, Vicky's film recorded a historic 30.51% occupancy in footfalls. The movie recorded slight hike in footfalls in afternoon shows (34.50%). Compared to the morning occupancy, the film witnessed 10% jump in footfalls in the evening occupancy on the opening day.

As of now, till 7:55 PM, Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava has netted around Rs 22.45 cr at the box office. The figures are all expected to see a noticeable hike by the end of today as the night show numbers are yet to come.
