Emergency Box Office Collection Prediction Day 12: National Award-winning Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut's latest outing 'Emergency' has been the talk-of-the-town for quite a while now. Director, co-produced and headlined by Kangana Ranaut, the biographical political-drama is based on the Emergency period between 1975-1977. Amid positive buzz, the movie hit cinemas on 17th January 2025. After a soaring run, the film has slowed down a bit after the release of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sky Force'.

Emergency Box Office Collection Yesterday (2nd Monday)

Featuring Kangana Ranaut as the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, Emergency boasts a star-studded power-packed ensemble including names like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, late Satish Kaushik, and Milind Soman among others.

Meeting expectations, the Kangana Ranaut starrer earned Rs 2.5 cr on the day of its release, followed by Rs 14.3 cr in its 1st week. The film recorded an upward trend once again in the second weekend. On Monday (yesterday), the film witnessed its lowest single day ever amid a strong competition from Sky Force.

According to Sacnilk, Emergency managed to score only Rs 20 lakhs (early estimates) on second Monday (yesterday), taking the total estimated nett collection to Rs 16.90 cr in 11 days.

Week 1: ₹ 14.3 cr

Day 8 (2nd Friday): ₹ 40 lakhs

Day 9 (2nd Saturday): ₹ 85 lakhs

Day 10 (2nd Sunday): ₹ 1.15 cr

Day 11 (2nd Monday): ₹ 20 lakhs

Total - Rs 16.90 CRORES!

Emergency Box Office Collection Prediction Today

Given the current trend, the movie is likely to maintain a slow pace today as well due to the Sky Force buzz. Kangana's Emergency is expected to earn somewhere between Rs 25-30 lakhs today (2nd Tuesday, day 12). If the prediction turns out to be right, the film will cross the Rs 17 cr-mark today (Jan 28). To note, Emergency needs to earn Rs 10 lakhs approximately to surpass Rs 17 cr today.

Emergency Budget, OTT Streaming Updates

Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 60 cr approximately, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Kangana Ranaut's Emergency have been reportedly acquired by Netflix. Yes, the movie will have its OTT premiere on the said streaming platform after its theatrical run. However, the OTT release date is yet uncertain.
