Ground Zero Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Updates: After more than a year and half, Emraan Hashmi is back on big screens with latest Bolly release. Inspired by true events, 'Ground Zero' features Hashmi as the BSF officer Narendranath Dubey. Amidst a negligible pre-release buzz, the war drama hit cinemas today (Friday, April 25) and opened to an underwhelming response from fans and critics alike. Despite being headlined by Emraan Hashmi, the film kickstarted its theatrical journey on a poor note, struggling to meet expectations.

KRK Takes Dig At Emraan Hashmi Starrer Ground Zero Slow Opening; Where Do Kesari Chapter 2 Jaat Stand?

Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani-lead Excel Entertainment, Ground Zero is a war-drama that marks Emraan Hashmi's first onscreen role as the BSF (Border Security Force) officer. Co-starring Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, Zoya Hussain, and Lalit Prabhakar among others, the war film is one its way to become one of the lowest opening Hindi films of this year.

Earlier today in the afternoon, Kamaal R Khan (KRK) took a dig at Ground Zero's slow opening at the ticket counter. Taking to Twitter (now X), KRK wrote, "Today on 25/4/25 till 3pm all India nett business!
#GroundZero ₹24 lakhs. 🤪
#Jaat ₹30 lakhs (3rd week)
#KesariChapter2 ₹70 lakhs!
It's proof that
@emraanhashmi
is a chapri actor whose career finished 15 years ago. (sic)"

Ground Zero Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Trend: Emraan Hashmi Starrer Struggles To Meet Expectation

Given the poor advance booking report card, it was already anticipated that Emraan Hashmi's highly-anticipated film 'Ground Zero' might have a dull start at ticket counters. According to the latest Sacnilk update, the movie has managed to earn only Rs 1.13 cr on its opening day till 9:40 PM.

Seems like, Akshay Kumar-R Madhavan-Ananya Panday's Kesari Chapter 2 and Sunny Deol starrer Jaat remain the go-to choice over Ground Zero for the cine-goers.

Ground Zero Opening Day Occupancy

Emraan Hashmi's Ground Zero recorded an extremely low footfalls in morning shows today. As per the same trade tracking site, the movie managed to witness only 4.71% morning occupancy on Friday.

Even though, the film saw slight boost in footfalls in afternoon shows, the evening footfalls dipped amid the low buzz.

Morning Shows: 4.71%
