After a slow start in advance booking on limited screens on April 27 (Sunday), the highly-anticipated thriller sequel has picked up an impressive upward trend in pre-sales. According to Sacnilk, the film has sold over 88k tickets (88,561 to be precise) on Tuesday (today, April 29) till 8:40 PM, grossing Rs 3.92 cr for the opening with block seats. As per the same trade tracking site, Raid 2 has sold the highest number of tickets in Mumbai as of now, raking in almost Rs 42.89 lakhs from Mumbai itself.

Given the current buzz, Raid 2 is on its way to surpass Sunny Deol's Jaat advance booking collection for the opening day. According to Sacnilk, Jaat had sold 1,13,299 tickets, grossing Rs 6.27 cr (with bloc seats) for its April 10 release.
