With a magnumous first day collection of Rs 21 cr (net), as per Sacnilk, Saiyaara has emerged as the 4th biggest opener of 2025 in Bollywood. Not just that, Ahaan-Aneet's whirlwind onscreen romance also went on to record the highest opening for a Bollywood romantic film, beating Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone's 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (2013), which had opened to a collection of Rs 19.45 cr. And of course, Saiyaara now holds the record of being the biggest opening film of any newcomers in Bollywood.

Given the positive word-of-mouth and high buzz, it was already expected that Saiyaara would continue its thriving run at the box office, riding high on its opening weekend buzz.

According to the latest Sacnilk update, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara movie has so far added around Rs 19.87 cr today, on its first Saturday (July 19), till 9:15 pm. As of now, the total box office earnings stand at Rs 40.87 cr.

If his claim turns out to be true, then the latest Bollywood musical romantic-drama has supposedly recovered 100% of its budget from its box office numbers. Previously, reports did rounds claiming that Saiyaara's budget was around Rs. 60 cr.
