Starring Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh and the 'sitaare-s' of Sitaare Zameen Par, 10 neurodivergent actors, the latest Hindi-language sports comedy-drama is a sequel to Khan's 2007 emotional blockbuster film 'Taare Zameen Par'. Amidst string pre-release buzz, Sitaare Zameen Par had its grand theatrical release on June 20, 2025 (Friday).

The film opened to rave reviews from fans and critics alike, resulting in a whopping opening day collection of Rs 10.7 cr, as per Sacnilk. Due to the strong word-of-mouth, the movie recorded a massive 88.79% hike in numbers on Saturday and added around Rs 20.2 cr on day 2, followed by Rs 27.25 cr on Sunday. The total 3-day net earnings of Sitaare Zameen Par stand at Rs 58.15 cr.
