As per an ABP, the spiritual sequel has been allegedly made on a staggering budget of Rs 100 cr. As shown in posters, Son Of Sardaar 2 will have its OTT premiere on Netflix. Yes, Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of Devgn's highly-anticipated sequel. However, there is no update on its official OTT release date.

As per multiple reports surfacing online, Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur's Son Of Sardaar 2 has gotten a low number of screens due to its box office clash with Dhadak 2 along with the ongoing craze of both Saiyaara and Kannada-animated mythological film 'Mahavatar Narsimha'.

According to the real-time data of trade tracking site Sacnilk, Son Of Sardaar 2 is struggling to even touch the 5 cr-mark on its opening day. Today (Friday, Aug 1), Ajay's film has managed to somehow net around Rs 2.14 cr till 4:30 pm.
