The Diplomat Box Office Collection Prediction Day 6: John Abraham's latest Hindi-language political-thriller 'The Diplomat' is yet to make a mark at the box office. Directed by Shivam Nair, the follows the story of an Indian diplomat who rescues an Indian girl from Pakistan who was apparently forced and deceived to get married against her will. Amid decent buzz, the film hit cinemas last Friday (14th March, 2025) on the occasion of Holi. Headlined by Abraham, The Diplomat also features Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi and Sadia Khateeb among others in important roles.

John Abraham starrer latest Bollywood political-thriller 'The Diplomat' is struggling at the box office. Despite dip in numbers, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava continues to remain the first choice for the moviegoers. Amidst an average buzz, the movie had a slow opening at the box office and earned Rs 4 cr on the opening day. The film maintained its pace on the weekend and collected Rs 4.65 cr on both Saturday and Sunday.

Then, the movie witnessed a massive 67.74% dip in numbers on Monday and managed to mint around Rs 1.5 cr. As er Sacnilk, the movie dropped further below yesterday (March 18) and added Rs 1.4 cr approximately. Now, the total 6-day nett collection is estimated to be at Rs 16.20 cr.

Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 50 cr, John Abraham's The Diplomat is struggling to pull audiences to theatres. Given the current buzz, the movie is expected to continues its slow run today as well. The film is likely to earn somewhere between Rs 1.25-1.5 cr on ts first Wednesday (today, March 19).

If the prediction turns out to be right, the movie will inch closer to the Rs 18 cr-mark, failing to even recover 50% of the budget.
