Bollywood celebrities have created a lot of buzz recently by appealing to vote. Some celebrities even posted pictures and spoke about the Lok Sabha candidates. However, when the actual voting came up, a lot of stars opted for IIFA which is currently going on in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Bollywood celebrities are often seen bragging about social responsibilities. However, when the right to exercise their vote came, most of the celebrities were not seen at the polling booths. This has welcomes a lot of controversies and criticism as we saw a lot of Bollywood celebrities casting their votes at Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai yesterday. From Sonam Kapoor to the Bachchan family, we witnessed stars who got inked. Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan and Sonam Kapoor were among the first to get inked.

However, some celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, BJP's Patna candidate Shatrugan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor and many more are in Tampa Bay. Here is a list of Bollywood celebrities who did not vote in 2014 Lok Sabha elections for several reasons like IIFA or shooting.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi who is the daughter of actor-turned BJP member, Shatrugan Sinha also urged about voting. But, Sona was also seen in any voting booth as she is in Tampa Bay attending IIFA.

Saif Ali Khan n Kareena Kapoor

Both husband and wife did not vote in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections as they are attending IIFA.

Shahid Kapoor

Shahid skipped 2014 LS voting as he is one of the hosts of IIFA 2014.

Salman Khan

Salman was in the news off lately for making an appearance with BJP's prime-ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, but he is in Poland shooting for Kick. However, we saw Arbaaz and Sohail who cast their vote.

Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar

The couple skipped voting and went to attend IIFA. Akhtar is in fact a sitting Rajya Sabha MP while actress Shabana Azmi is an ex-member of the Upper House yet they didn't choose to be a part of our democracy.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka, you might have been shooting NH10 in Jodhpur, but traveling to Mumbai was just a few hours thing. She is one of the celebrities who did not vote in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika is one of the celebrities who was appealing the youngsters to exercise their right as a citizen by voting. However, she herself left for IIFA.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka has been promoting IIFA since months in various places. So, it was expected from her to attend IIFA. However, she missed a chance to enjoy her right to vote!
