Ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are working together again in Ek Tha Tiger's sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai. The shooting for the film will start in March 2017 and Yash Raj has announced December 2017 as the release date. It has been revealed that Salman Khan will reprise his role as Indian spy Tiger while Katrina Kaif will be playing the role of Pakistani spy Zoya once again.
Talking about the same, a source told a leading daily, ''The film, titled Tiger Zinda Hai, will take off from where Ek Tha Tiger left, and will trace the story of Tiger, a top spy. Ali is keen to add several thrilling elements to the film and make it an exciting watch for Salman fans. Salman Khan will play a spy and will be seen from the ages 17 to 70. The film will be high on action and will have Tiger and Zoya coming together to fight a common enemy. ''

Director Kabir Khan's 2012 action-adventure film Ek Tha Tiger broke all the records at the box office. It was the first time Salman Khan and Kabir Khan worked together. They both worked in Bajrangi Bhaijaan later, which was also a blockbuster.
Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are currently shooting for their upcoming film Tubelight in Manali.
