Badlapur movie is an action oriented film in which Varun Dhawan will be playing a baddie and Yami Gautam will essay his wife in the movie. Devastated by the loss of his wife and Son a man goes on a mission of revenge.

Raghav a.k.a Raghu is a man with a past.He witnessed his wife and son being killed during a robbery. 15 years later, Raghu finds out who pulled the trigger to kill his family.

Story in detail:
Inspired by a real-life incident, Badlapur is about two men who are haunted by a crime that one of them committed. Raghu (Varun Dhawan) is an advertising executive with a picture perfect life that is savaged unexpectedly when his wife (Yami Gautam) and son encounter the bank robber Liak (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

Raghu is a man of past and 15 years later, Raghu gets to know who pulled the trigger to kill his family. The journey of revenge and blood bath begins.

He tries every possible means to get even with Laik, including forced sex with Laik's prostitute girlfriend Jhimli (Huma Qureshi) to humiliate him. Laik is sentenced to twenty years prison term where he makes several unsuccessful jail-break-attempts. Fifteen years later, Raghu 'facilitates' Laik's premature exit from the jail. The twists-in-the-plot continues, ensuring a roller coaster thrilling ride.
