Chingi Story

Chingi is a story of a newly married couple Arti and Rohan Date. Arti played by Girija Oak is pressurized by her in-laws to give birth to a boy. Since, Aarti’s mother could never produce a boy; she fears that she too will not be able to fulfill the expectations of her in-laws. Arti struggles to overcome this physical and mental torture every moment of her life.

When one of her sister Priyanka’s marriage breaks because of the history of not having a boy in the family, Arti is under total mental disturbance. At such time, she realizes she is pregnant. Unable to overcome her fear of the baby being a girl, Arti takes a major decision without consulting her husband, this is where the story of Chingi begins.
