Faraaz Story
The movie Faraaz is an action thriller helmed by Hansal Mehta, with the story and the screenplay penned by Raghav Kakkar, Ritesh Shah, and Kashyap Kapoor. The movie stars Juhi Babbar and Aamir Ali Malik in the lead roles, along with Pallak Lalwani, Aditya Rawal, Zahan Kapoor, and many other supporting actors.
Pratham Mehta handled the cinemotography, and the film editing was done by Amitesh Mukherjee. Sameer Rahat composed the music and scored the background score for this film, while the lyrics for the film were penned by Alok Shrivastav. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Mazahir Mandsaurwala, Sakshi Bhatt, and Sahil Saigal produced the film under the banners of Benaras Mediaworks, Mahana Films, and T-Series Films.
Like an action thriller movie, Faraaz displays the storyline of a strained detainee crime drama over one cramped evening that is centred on a true-life terrorist attack on a Dhaka cafe.
Release Date
The film was released in the Thrill portion of the BFI London Festival on October 15, 2022. It is set to be released in India on February 3, 2023, after the Delhi High Court denied an execution delay in a suit filed by the mothers of two girls killed in the terrorist attack.
