Gadar 2 Story

Gadar 2 is a Bollywood period drama helmed by Anil Sharma, and the screenplay is penned by Shaktimaan. It is a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The movie will feature Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma back on screen after 20 years. Anil George, Simrat Kaur, and many others contributed to this film as supporting actors.

The film's cinematography is handled by Najeeb Khan, and the editing is done by Ashfaq Makrani. Mithun Sharma composed the soundtrack and the background score for this film. Gadar 2 is produced by Anil Sharma and Kamal Mukut under the banners of Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Production.

Gardar 2 conveys the plotline of the sequel to the historical drama film "Gardar: Ek Prem Katha." In the first film in the series, truck driver Tara Singh finds love with a Muslim girl he protected during India's separation. His father-in-law eventually understood their love, and they came back to India. And now, Tara Singh heads up to Pakistan to bring his son, Charanjeet, back during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.

Gadar 2 was released on August 11, 2023. The OTT release of this movie was done on November 13, 2023, only on Zee5.

Budget:

Gadar 2 was made on a budget of 80 crores, but only 60 crores were spent on production, and 20 crores were spent on prints and advertising.

Box-Office:

Gadar 2 made a pre-release business of 17 crores, and on opening day, it produced 40.1 crores of collection. On the second and third day, it made 43.08 and 51.70 crores of collection. Gadar 2 earned 524.75 crores till now.
