Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy is an upcoming film directed by Shivam Nair, Jayprad Desai. The film also features a strong supporting ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Zain Khan Durrani, Adil Hussain, Harsh Chhaya, Satyadeep Misra, Barkha Bisht, Dilip Shankar, Zoya Afroz, Atul Kumar, Karan Oberoi, Sushil Pandey, and Sunil Shanbag, each bringing depth and nuance to the narrative with their compelling performances. Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy is produced by Vaibhav Modi under Victor Tango Entertainment. 

Plot 

Based on Maloy Krishna Dhar’s novel Mission to Pakistan: An Intelligence Agent in Pakistan, the story is set in the 1960s in the aftermath of the Sino-Indian War, when India was left economically and militarily vulnerable. Anticipating further threats from Pakistan, Indian intelligence adopts an unconventional strategy by recruiting a young Kashmiri conman, Harfan (played by Zain Khan Durrani), as an undercover agent. Posing as a child separated during Partition, Harfan infiltrates Lahore, wins the trust of a local family, and gradually gains access to influential military circles. As he navigates a web of deception, he risks his life to gather crucial intelligence on operations like Gibraltar and Grand Slam, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding India’s interests.
