Namastey England Story

Namastey England is a 2018 Bollywood romance-comedy, which has been helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. Namastey England is a sequel to the 2007 hit film Namastey London.

The movie revolves around the couple Jasmeet and Param. Jasmeet's only wish is to go all the way to find her way to success.  Param (Arjun Kapoor) gets besotted with Jasmeet (Parineeti Chopra) when he watches her dancing during a Dussehra celebration. Post some stunts with tractors and mandatory dancing in 'sarson ka khet', love happens and how.

Jasmeet wishes to be a jewellery designer, but her father and brother discourage her from pursuing her dreams because 'Aurauton ka kaam hai marddon ka pett bharn.' In fact, they even agree to wed her off to Param, on the condition that she will not work post marriage. After marriage, she reveals her dream of an independent working life in London. She even tries to coax Param to get a London citizenship even if it means resorting to illegal means. But our hero is a man of principles and rejects her ideas. Unknown to him, Jasmeet comes up with a risky plan to fulfill her ambitions.

Namastey England has been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Akkshay Jayantilal Gada, Reliance Entertainment, Aashin A. Shah, Reshma Kadakia, Kushal Kantilal Gada, Firuzi Khan and Sameer Chopra under the banner Pen India Limited, Namastey Production, Reliance Entertainment and Blockbuster Movie Entertainers Pvt.Ltd. The movie will be distributed to the theatres by Reliance Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Yiannis Manolopoulos has wielded the camera for Namastey England. The movie has its music composed by Mannan Shaah, Badshah and Rishi Rich.
