Satluj (originally titled Punjab 95), directed by Honey Trehan, is a hard-hitting biographical drama featuring Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role, supported by a strong ensemble including Arjun Rampal, Suvinder Vicky, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, and Kanwaljit Singh among others. Produced by Abhishek Chaubey, Ronnie Screwvala, and Honey Trehan under RSVP Movies and MacGuffin Pictures, the film is based on the life of Jaswant Singh Khalra. Set in post-1984 Amritsar, it traces Khalra’s courageous journey as he exposes large-scale illegal cremations and enforced disappearances, eventually leading to his abduction in 1995, after which a gripping CBI investigation unfolds. The film premiered on ZEE5 on July 3, 2026.
