Stree 2 Story
Stree 2 is a Hindi supernatural horror-comedy film, directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. It serves as the sequel to the 2018 hit Stree. The movie stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, reprising their roles as the mysterious woman and Vicky, respectively. Key supporting cast members include Pankaj Tripathi as Rudra, Abhishek Banerjee as Jana, Aparshakti Khurana as Bittu, and Tamannaah Bhatia in a special role. The music for the film is composed by Sachin-Jigar, with Badshah and Jam8 contributing as well. Cinematography is handled by Jishnu Bhattacharjee, and the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios.
Story
The sequel starts from where the first part ended. Stree wanted respect and now on every wall is written 'O Stree Raksha Karna'. But, as Stree goes away from Chanderi, enters Sarkata who kidnaps girls. Now, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), Janna (Abhishek Banerjee), Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana), and Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi) once again get involved with Sarkata and the mystery girl (Shraddha Kapoor) is also back in Chanderi.
How these people save the women of Chanderi from Sarkate Ka Aatank, forms the rest of the story.
Release Date
Stree 2 movie was released in theaters on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India's Independence Day. The film will be competing at the box office with other major releases, promising a thrilling cinematic experience for fans of the genre.
