Tarla Story

Tarla is a Bollywood biopic drama written and directed by Piyush Gupta, while the screenplay was penned by Gautam Ved. Huma Qureshi in the titular role, who was portraying the character of Chef Tarla Dalal in 'Tarla, while Sharib Hashmi, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Veena Nair, Bharti Achrekar, and many others in supporting roles.

Salu K. Thomas handled the cinematography, and the film editing was done by Gaurav Aggarwal. Suhit Abhyankar, Rohan Vinayak, and Nilotpal Bora composed the soundtracks and background score for this flick. Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Nitesh Tiwari produced this film under the banners of Earthsky Pictures and Rsvp Movies.

Storyline

Tarla is based on Padma Shri Tarla Dalal's life as a renowned chef, presenter of cooking shows, food columnist, and cookbook author. It traces Tarla's development from a small child who enjoyed cooking to one of India's greatest chefs. It also looks at her obstacles to overcome and how she intends to succeed in the process.

Release Date

The film "Tarla" will be released on Zee5 on July 7, 2023.
