Tavvai Story

Tavvai is a romantic drama film directed by Nirbhay Jariwala and Jayesh Vrushiraj, featuring Arpit Ranka, Bhushan Pradhan, Manoj Joshi,  Spandana Pali, Tripti Sahu, Baani Arreja, Keertika Gupta, Sushil Singh, Neetu Pandey, Satish Badal, and many more. The movie is produced by Aniket Jasani, Kalpesh Vaghasiya, Dev Gandhi, Ramesh Arreja under Jay and Sha Motion Pictures.

Plot

Set in motion in 1880, the story follows a cruel Maharaj whose brutal atrocities in a Central Indian village awaken Tavvai—an embodiment of misfortune linked to Alakshmi. His sins cast a generational curse, leaving the village trapped in fear and darkness. In the present day, Pramendra, played by Bhushan Pradhan, inherits this haunting legacy and is forced to confront his family’s buried secrets hidden within a sacred peepal tree before the evil destroys everything. Blending mythology with suspense, the narrative explores the powerful clash between Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune, and her elder sister Alakshmi, symbolizing the eternal battle between prosperity and misfortune, ultimately questioning fate and cosmic justice.
