Plot
Shankar and Mukti are two lovers destined to be apart. After returning from his father's funeral, an enraged Shankar crashes Mukti’s wedding rituals and pours Ganga jal on her during her Mehendi, cursing her to understand the pain of losing someone in love. Set against the poetic backdrop of Banaras, Anand L. Rai captures a raw, human, and emotionally intense portrayal of love.
